NTOs pre-match briefingNTO VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR 2012

If you want to be considered for training as an NTO (National Technical
Official) for the Volleyball, Beach Volleyball or Sitting Volleyball competitions at the 2012 Olympic games in London, you will need to contact your Home Volleyball Association to register - that's the Scottish Volleyball Association, Northern Ireland Volleyball Association and Volleyball England (who will pick up any Welsh volunteers too).
We have included Volleyball England's invitation to their volleyballers below as an example.

When the Home Associations have completed their recruitment campaign, the databases will be merged into one and administered by the sub-committee set up by the BVF Board to be responsible for NTO delivery in 2012.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to support our athletes and provide the first class competition infrastructure the event demands.
See you all in London 2012.

Keeping in touch with the 'Brits Abroad'

11th November 2009

Here at British Volleyball it's all about the athletes, and the teams. Over 80 athletes are part of the British programmes, covering the various disciplines of Beach Volleyball (Olympic), Sitting Volleyball (Paralympic) and Volleyball (Olympic).

Alongside the UK-based athletes, this winter club season we also have over 20 players based abroad at clubs in Europe, and at univesity/college in North America. You can find out more about these 'Brits Abroad' on the Overseas Athletes page, and follow how they're doing on a weekly basis on the results/stats page.

The overseas athletes are in regular contact with the coaches through a variety of methods, the usual telephone calls and e-mails are now supplemented by Skype and MSN Messenger.
