Matt Grinlaubs

Head Coach

Matt hails from Australia. He represented Australia at both Indoor and Beach Volleyball. His career highlight was competing at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games in Beach Volleyball. He played on the FIVB World Tour for a number of years with a best result of 9th (4 times).

Matt is married with two children. He lives in Bath where the British Beach Volleyball program is based.

Imornefe (Morph) Bowes

Women's Coach

Morph hails from Scotland but came to England to participate in the Great Britain programme in the mid 1990s. He played his club volleyball for Sheffield / Leeds before moving to National Club Champions London Malory. He represented England on xx occasions in international competition.
He has played on various Beach circuits and still plays on a semi-regular basis at domestic level. His best result in 2008 was winning the Sandbanks leg of the VEBT Tour partnering Matt Grinlaubs!

Amanda (Mo) Glover

Sessional Assistant Coach

Amanda is one of just two British Volleyball Olympians having partnered Audrey Cooper at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996, where they finished in 9th place.
Her best result on the World Tour was 5th / 7th in xxxxx in 1996.
Mo is a career firefighter, having retired from active volleyball competition.

Angela Clarke

Assistant Coach

Ange, from Brisbane (AUS), was a professional beach volleyball athlete for Australia, and played on the World Tour for 10 years. Her best result was a podium finish (3rd) in Mexico in 1999. Ange also played on the indoor team at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, finishing 9th. It was here she had her most memorable moment in sport, marching into her home stadium in front of a packed home crowd during the opening ceremony.

Ange joins the BVF from the University of Bath, where she was a strength and conditioning coach for the Team Bath athletes.
